Super Smash Bros 4 for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS includes character power upgrades, as well as new items and assist trophies.
Some of the upgrades as well as one new item and one assist trophy have recently been revealed.
Let’s check them out:
New Item
One of the new items in Super Smash Bros 4 will be the beetle from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
When the Beetle is launched it will comically carry the opponent into the air.
New Assist Trophy
One of the new assist trophies has been revealed as Mother Brain from Metroid. It shoots with a laser brain attack and is protected by Rinkas (whatever they are).
In related news, it’s not known yet whether Dark Samus is a playable character in the game.
New Appearance
Palkia was confirmed to appear in the game.
It will come out of a Poke Ball.
Character Power Upgrades
-Rosalina
Rosalina has a cosmos beneath her gown.
It appears to be some type of special power that is usable while she is flipping through the air.
-Lucario
This power upgrade enables players to control Lucario’s flight direction by shooting out Aura from its hands.
“If Lucario’s Aura is fully charged, it can fly extremely far, so be careful not to accidentally launch out of the area,” according to game director Masahiro Sakurai.
Lucario’s Aura sphere can grow considerably large, as evidenced by the size comparison.
