Nintendo has been giving consistent updates on Super Smash Bros 4, which is expected to be released sometime this year for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Let’s check out the recent photos shared by the game creator Masashire Sakurai on Miiverse.

-More Details on the Super Mario 3D Land Stage

This stage is only for the 3DS version. It advances by side scrolling.

Then you continue into the valley--it’s in 3D Land, after all. The protruding stone blocks change the angles of the platforms.

After that, back to side-scrolling. Now it gets you moving--you'll have to trot downhill here, Sakurai said.

“And finally, you get back on rails to go farther into the stage. It takes roughly two minutes to complete a lap, and at the end you go into a giant pipe that takes you back to the beginning. …I know this sequence goes above and beyond a traditional Pic of the Day, so consider this a little something extra on the side from me.”

-Diddy Kong’s Peanut Popgun is More Powerful

Sakurai said that it will be more difficult to hit a target with the weapon but the more powerful attack will explode upon impact.

“It'll be difficult to hit your target, but when you succeed, the explosion will really blow your enemies away,” he said. “Give it a shot when you break someone’s shield.”

New Picture of Rosalina

Rosalina is one of the multiple new characters in the game.

“Strange how calm and nonchalant she looks even when she takes damage. Is it because she’s from outer space?” Sakurai wondered.

The other new characters announced so far are Little Mac, the Villager, Mega Man, and Wii Fit Trainer.
