Super Smash Bros 4 game director Masahiro Sakurai has shared new insight into the upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Wii U game.

The 3DS version is slated to be released in the United States on October 3--it’s already been released in Japan.

The release for the Wii U version is slated for sometime in November or December 2014.

Sakurai revealed recently that the Castle Siege stage from Fire Emblem is included in Super Smash Bros. 4.

Another picture he shared showed the results for Conquest mode for players in Japan.

“Their next challenge is to battle each other with fighters they’ve trained up and fighters made of metal!!” he said.

And another picture shows Master Hand’s glove ripping open, letting out a mysterious substance that’s being called the swarm.

“The amount of this substance determines the shape of your final opponent, and you will have to launch it away in small clusters at a time. The higher your intensity, the denser the substance will be,” he said.

Yet another photo that was recently posted shows Pac-Man in the PictoChat 2 stage.

“We’ve included this as an element from Pac-Pix, which was released in 2005. It was quite revolutionary,” he said.
