The Super Smash Bros 4 character list has expanded to 22 as Lucario has been confirmed to be part of the upcoming Wii U and 3DS game, which has no set release date yet.
Game creator Masahire Sakurai said in the announcement that the team has “increased the influence of Aura this time, so a damaged Lucario is truly a force to be reckoned with.”
He follows the last character that was announced, King Dedede from the Kirby games.
Lucario originates in the Pokemon X and Y series. See him in action below.
The new game will feature many of the favorite characters, including Zelda, Marth, Pikachu, and Kirby.
Sonic, Peach, Luigi, Mario, Peach, Toon Link, Pikmin & Olimar, Donkey Kong, Samus, Link, Fox, Bowser, and Pit will also return.
There will be other new characters:
-Mega Man
-Wii Fit Trainer
-Villager
-Rosalina & Luma
No official release date has been announced yet.
