Despite forecasts predicting Saturday to be a wet and murky day, it turned into a perfectly dry and sunshiny day for all the fans and the 4- to 15-year-old players who spent the day closing off another great season playing the world’s most popular sport.
The North Toronto Soccer Club (NTSC) kids got another chance to kick the soccer ball around this past Saturday as they competed in the Summer Cup finals tournament.
Despite forecasts predicting Saturday to be a wet and murky day, it turned into a perfectly dry and sunshiny day for all the fans and the 4- to 15-year-old players who spent the day closing off another great season playing the world’s most popular sport.
As a proud sponsor of four teams in the NTSC, The Epoch Times took to the fields to capture photos of the kids as they played their final games.
The NTSC has been around for nearly 30 years as a not-for-profit, community-based organization. It currently offers soccer programs to more than 4,500 children and youth and 200 young adults in the North Toronto community.
The NTSC has a little something for just about everyone, from learn-to-play camps and recreational programs to competitive leagues, as well as a mixed co-ed adult league for those grownups still wanting to be in the game.
