A hooded sweatshirt with a built-in pillow has surpassed its funding goal on Kickstarter and will be made soon.
Hypnos creator Josh Woodle asked for $30,000 on the crowdfunding platform. He’s received over $100,000. And there’s still 6 days to go.
The defining feature of the sweatshirt is an inflatable pillow that enables wearers to nap comfortably in a range of settings.
“The Hypnos Hoodie is a beautiful, comfortable and practical hoodie designed for creatives, travelers, commuters and anybody who has a moment to take a rest,” Woodle wrote.
“It’s more than a hoodie, it’s your day-to-day (and day-to-night) essential comfort garment, and it does things other hoodies can’t--The hood inflates to form a perfectly ergonomic pillow for rest on the go.”
The pillow pops out of a tailored pocket that hides it when it’s not inflated.
The hoodie comes in different styles and colors.
The company says all the sweatshirts are made in America.
The exact date the sweatshirts will be available is unclear, but Woodle said in a blog post that after the campaign is over the company will send out surveys to its backers asking questions before shipping them the clothing.
