In China, a 19-year-old boy murdered his mother, and set fire to the body with gasoline. But the corpse did not burn up, so he dismembered the remains, and threw them away. When he was interrogated, he lied and cried, “I’m not guilty. Please avenge my mother’s death.” However, the lie could not cover the evidence against him. In the end, he was sentenced to death.

According to Hong Kong’s Singpao Daily News report, on August 16, the Hulutao City Intermediate Court made the judgment on this homicide case. The murderer, Yin Henan, was a senior high school student in Hulutao City, Liaoning Province. His father passed away two years ago, leaving his mother to raise him.

Yin and his mother had an argument on the night of February 8. The mother scolded Yin on something trivial. Yin was angry and stabbed his mother to death with a knife. Yin went to school the next day as usual. In the following days, he pretended to look for his mother with his relatives and pretended to be sad.

The fragments of the victim’s body were discovered on the ice under Dongda Bridge in the city. The police found splattered bloodstains at Yin’s home in April and arrested him.

The report quotes a judiciary staff’s comment on the case, “Yin has a mature criminal mind.”
