A crash and 10-car pileup on the Staten Island Expressway is snarling traffic Sunday, it was reported.

The Expressway is reportedly covered with ice.

NBC New York reported, via Twitter, that the eastbound section of the Expressway between Exit 14-Hyland Boulevard and Exit 15-Fingerboard Road-Lily Pond Ave. is shut down due to icing.

The station added that at least one person was injured in the pileup.
