State of Indiana Reaches $20 Million Settlement With Google Over Location Tracking Practices

Indiana’s Attorney General Todd Rokita on Dec. 29 announced the state has reached a $20 million settlement with Google over the big tech giant’s alleged deceptive location tracking practices.

In a statement, Rokita said that the latest settlement reflects the state government’s commitment to protecting Indiana residents from “Big Tech’s intrusive schemes.”
