One of the many Star Wars Episode 7 rumors is that the movie will include the Sith home world.
The speculation was sparked by the world being renamed from Korriban to Moraband in the official Star Wars Insider Magazine.
The renaming wasn’t heavily publicized, instead being dropped in a synopsis for a “Clone Wars” episode.
“After many gruelling trials, Yoda next travels to the ancient Sith homeworld of Moraband, where he must face an ancient evil determined to rule the galaxy,” it said.
Yahoo contributor Ryan Leston writes that “it’s not a lot to go on… but in the wake of the recently announced ‘Star Wars’ canon overhaul, it seems like a very deliberate change. And that could be because we’ll be hearing a lot more about this barren planet in the years to come.
“Often described as a harsh and unforgiving planet, it’s home to many of the most sacred Sith artefacts… and appears in numerous books and videogames as a sacred place where countless Sith have learned the ways of the Dark Side. And with no-one around to train the Sith of the future, could this be the training grounds of our ‘Episode VII’ villain?”
Some fan art on the Lucasfilm website also appears to show the world.
