A suspicious backpack prompted evacuations of three buildings on the Stanford University campus on Tuesday.
KTVU reported that the student union and two other buildings were evacuated.
KRON reported that students and staff are being told to avoid the Tresidder, Old Union, and Dinkelspiel areas of campus.
The backpack was first spotted near Dinkelspiel Audiotorium.
