Stallworth balloon accident: Following a hot air balloon accident, wideout Donte' Stallworth was reportedly burned but is in “stable condition.”

Free agent wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth was burned during a hot air balloon accident in Florida, it was reported Saturday.

Stallworth, who played a game last season for the New England Patriots, is “OK,” agent Drew Rosenhaus told USA Today. Stallworth “has some burns but he will be fine,” he added.

The accident, first reported by ESPN, occurred when the balloon he was traveling in hit some power lines. His girlfriend and another unidentified passenger were also in the balloon.

“He will be able to continue his NFL career. The injuries are not to the extent they will jeopardize his career,” Rosenhaus told ESPN.

ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss tweeted that Stallworth is in “stable condition.”

Miami-Dade Police spokesman Roy Rutland said that Stallworth and another person were transported to a hospital, according to The Associated Press.

Last season, in the one game he played, Stallworth caught one pass for 63 yards and a touchdown. He has also played for the New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, and the Washington Redskins.

His best season was in 2005 when he caught 70 passes for 945 yards and seven touchdowns for the Saints.
