Five victims were left wounded after a stabbing at U.C. Merced in Fresno, California on November 4.
Not all of the victims are students.
Campus police eventually found the male suspect, who was reportedly a student, and shot him. He died from his wounds.
The campus is closed and classes are canceled for the rest of the day.

Of the wounded, three were treated on campus while two were taken by medical helicopter to a nearby hospital.
Student Alex Lopez was on campus headed to class when he realized something was wrong.
“I was listening to a podcast, and there was a break in talking, and I just hear a gunshot,” he told ABC30.
“You see this stuff all over the news and stuff and you see it happen to all these other schools,” but you don’t expect it to happen at your school, he added.
The school is about 120 miles south of Sacramento.
