After a prolonged winter, spring made a brief appearance only to make way for an early summer, judging by the current temperatures in Orange County.

But the annual spring bloom show at the Orange County Arboretum in Montgomery is still attracting visitors who look forward to admiring the great tulip display alongside the grape hyacinths, daffodils, and other blooms that have emerged from the 34,000 bulbs.

While it is hard to say if the flowers will last until May 27, the last day of the show, due to the hot temperatures, the Friends of the Arboretum will be holding their annual fund-raising plant sales on May 16 and May 23. The non-profit organization raises funds for all the seasonal plantings in the Arboretum.
