GREENSBORO, N.C.—The first round of the Wyndham Championship was postponed Thursday due to dangerous conditions and heavy rainfall related to Tropical Storm Debby.
The PGA Tour announced the scheduling adjustment late in the morning after previously delaying the start. The plan is for the 156-player field to begin the tournament on Friday at Sedgefield Country Club. The PGA said the first round will not begin before 8:50 a.m. ET on Friday.
