Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward and defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons said they had no bad blood after a skirmish at practice this week.

During Monday’s practice, Ward taunted Simmons after throwing a touchdown, prompting the rest of the offense to intervene. Simmons noted that tempers flare in the dog days of training camp, and said he left it on the field after practice. Ward said the scuffle was the kind of energy he wants to bring to the team.
