LOS ANGELES—Natasha Cloud scored 31 points, including four in the last minute, to help the injury-riddled Phoenix Mercury pull away from the Los Angeles Sparks in an 84–78 WNBA victory on Sunday, July 7.

Injured Phoenix guard Diana Taurasi (lower leg) did not make the trip to Los Angeles, while Rebecca Allen warmed up with the Mercury but did not play because of a lower-back injury.
