University of Southern California men’s basketball Coach Andy Enfield might not be long for that position, according to multiple reports on Wednesday.
Southern Methodist University in suburban Dallas is getting closer to landing Mr. Enfield to take over its program, the reports said. ESPN reported that Mr. Enfield has been the Mustangs’ sole target since they fired Rob Lanier on March 21, a day after dropping a first-round National Invitation Tournament game to Indiana State 101–92.
