It was the Atlanta Braves who racked up their first victory of the young MLB season over the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday, 5–2, at Truist Park.

Rarely have both the American and National Leagues presented such a highly anticipated showdowns series as what is taking place in Atlanta this week, especially this early in the season. Coming into this three-game series, the Braves and Cubs are ranked one and two in MLB’s power rankings. Both clubs are leading in their respective divisions, as well.
