Derek Shelton is the logical choice to lead the Minnesota Twins in 2026.

On Oct. 30, the Twins made it official when announcing that Shelton would be the club’s new field manager. This Tuesday, the former Pittsburgh Pirates skipper will be formally introduced to the media as Minnesota’s 15th all-time leader in the dugout.
