Despite owning the nation’s best record in major men’s college basketball, the Miami RedHawks will have to sit tight on Selection Sunday.

That’s what happened when the formerly 31–0 Redhawks fell 87–83 to UMass on March 12 in the Mid-American Conference tournament. Miami’s strength of schedule has been in question all season, with no Power Five conference teams on the schedule.
