Jahmyr Gibbs is the hot hand for the Detroit Lions, and his teammates are well aware. Gibbs had his second 200-scrimmage yard game and his second hat trick game against the New York Giants on Nov. 23.
The third-year running back also changed the game for a Lions offense that struggled to get going, scoring a critical fourth-quarter touchdown, then the game-winning run in the 34-27 overtime victory. Quarterback Jared Goff admitted after the game that he may have overused Gibbs due to his success, but praised his game-changing ability.
