The San Francisco Giants have acquired three-time All-Star Rafael Devers from the Boston Red Sox in a blockbuster trade to boost their hitting.

The Giants confirmed the trade on X Sunday evening. They gave up left-handed pitcher Kyle Harrison, righties Jordan Hicks and Jose Bello, and 2024 first-round draft pick outfielder James Tibbs III. A third baseman, Devers was part of the 2018 Red Sox team that won the World Series and has won two Silver Slugger awards, which honor the best hitter at each position.
