Denis Bouanga scored two goals, including the tiebreaking tally in the 75th minute, to lead host Los Angeles FC to a 4–2 victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy in the latest installment of the El Trafico rivalry on Saturday night, September 16.

Ryan Hollingshead and Timothy Tillman also scored as LAFC (12–9–7, 43 points) halted a three-game losing streak and split the season series 2–2.
