In Group D action in Split, Croatia, Botic van de Zandschulp took down Tommy Paul 7–6 (2), 6–2 before Tallon Griekspoor outlasted Frances Tiafoe 6–3, 6–7 (7), 7–6 (3) to secure the Dutch win.
