At some point, the New York Giants need to break this cycle.

Firing head coach Brian Daboll after a 2–8 start to the season on Monday means the Giants will have a sixth head coach in a decade. Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will serve as the interim head coach for the remainder of the 2025 season. Daboll went 20–40–1 in three and a half seasons with the Giants.
