The Denver Broncos are treating their regular season finale like a playoff game.

The Broncos will close the season Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, who announced this week that starting quarterback Justin Herbert would sit out, also indicating that the team would rest other starters ahead of the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Broncos head coach Sean Payton said the team is preparing for every possibility.
