Carlos Alcaraz won the U.S. Open men’s final on Sept. 7, in a match attended by President Donald Trump, with a 6–2, 3–6, 6–1, 6–4 victory.

The start of the game was delayed by around half an hour to accommodate Trump, who sat in a sponsor’s suite and whose arrival left thousands of fans in the security line waiting to enter the Arthur Ashe Stadium, where the match was held.
