In the wake of the heavily shorthanded Indiana Fever coming up a victory short of the WNBA finals, star guard Sophie Cunningham more or less laid out her team’s vision for 2026.

Championship or bust. The Fever nearly reached the finals without superstar guard Caitlin Clark, arguably the face of the league, and a slew of other key players due to injury. Indiana also competed without Cunningham, Aari McDonald, Chloe Bibby, Damiris Dantas, and Sydney Colson.
