CLEVELAND—From dominant to defeated—in less than a week. The San Francisco 49ers were reminded there are no perfect teams or givens in the NFL.

Brock Purdy suffered his first loss as a starter and the Niners had their regular-season winning streak stopped at 15 when rookie kicker Jake Moody missed a 41-yard field goal with six seconds remaining, giving the Cleveland Browns an unexpected 19–17 win on Sunday, Oct. 15.
