Denver Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham said he and his teammates are playing for starter Bo Nix.

Nix is out for the season after breaking his ankle in the Broncos’ 33-30 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. Stidham will start in Nix’s place in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday. Speaking to reporters after practice Wednesday, Stidham paid his respects to Nix and expressed gratitude for the fans who have rallied around him.
