“Splashy Fish,” “Ironpants,” and “City Bird - Flappy Flyer” are all similar to “Flappy Bird,” which was deleted a week ago and they’ve all shot to the top of the App Store.

“Splashy Fish” is the No. 1 app on the App Store, and it’s pretty much the same as “Flappy Bird.”

Some reviewers claimed it’s “better” than “Flappy Bird.”

“Compared to flappy bird, this app is like a new and improved version. However, even if it’s new and improved there is always room for improvement. My first point is the mechanics involved in this game. Playing it side to side with flappy bird, they are essentially different. I’m not sure if it’s my eyes playing tricks on me but I believe that the sprite is larger than the sprite in flappy bird,” one reviewer said.

The fish in the game can also be upgraded to change its appearance.

“Ironpants” is also ranked highly on the App Store--also extremely similar to “Flappy Bird.”

The game features a superhero-like man flying between boxes.

And “City Bird - Flappy Flyer” has slightly different gameplay and a few more features. Birds in the game are guided through boxes and collect seeds.

“Great fun, highly addicting, mind numbing, makes me wanna throw my phone across the room kind of fun,” reads one positive review of the game.

“Flappy Bird” creator Dong Nguyen a week ago said that he deleted the game--despite reports saying he was making about $50,000 per day in ads--because it is too addictive.
