South Carolina GOP Says Canceling 2020 Presidential Primary ‘Not Under Consideration’

The chairman of the South Carolina GOP said that canceling the Republican primary in the state for the 2020 presidential election has not been considered as of yet.

South Carolina’s primary is slated for Feb. 29, 2020. If canceled, it would be the second state in the country and the first in the southern United States.
