Soulja Boy Posts Fake $100 Bill Picture, Video on Instagram and Vine; Addresses it on Twitter

Soulja Boy has been called out by Instagram and Vine users after posting a picture of stacks of $100 bills and a video of himself with hte money.

Users are saying that the stacks are mostly fake.

“Am I the only one that realizes those are white pieces of paper under the $100 on top!!!!” said one user.

“Look close!!!!”

Soulja Boy has deleted both the picture and the video.

Before it was taken down, the picture had over 13,800 likes and 300 comments.

“I just want my fans to know that yes I was on set shooting a video and they had prop money and I took a picture with it. All my cash is real. They had prop money at turn my swag on video 2. They always have props. But I don’t want y‘all to think I would fool y’all with fake stuff,” he said via Twitter.

“Y'all keep it real with me tho if you seen 100k in prop money at a photo/videoshoot would u take a picture with it? Lol.”

“Souljaboy we dont care about ya money. We love you,” said one user.

Soulja Boy did broadcast that he'll be performing at El Rey Theatre on Thursday night, while also promoting an after party.
