Sons of Anarchy season 7 still doesn’t have a release date, but creator Kurt Sutter continues to reveal details about the upcoming season.
Sutter in his latest video blog clarified that CCH Pounder and Kim Dickens will only be back in season 7 in a limited capacity because of other commitments.
They’ll each likely appear in two to four episodes.
Jimmy Smits will be back as a regular, and so will Drea de Matteo, who was promoted to a regular from recurring cast.
Charles Barosky will be back as well.
Sutter also said that there will be several new characters, including new law enforcement officials.
One of these might not be a new sheriff.
“We’re trying to avoid the new sheriff in town device because we’ve kinda used it,” Sutter said.
Sutter also said that Peter Weller (who plays Barosky) will be back to direct at least two episodes, and that Barosky will be back as well.
