Some of the main stars of Sons of Anarchy were recently spotted filming scenes in Los Angeles recently.
Filming finally began on May 29 and Charlie Hunnam (Jax) was spotted getting his hair gelled on set on that afternoon.
Hunnam was joined by Tommy Flanagan (Filip ‘Chibs’ Telford), Kim Coates (Alex ’Tig' Trager), and Mark Boone Jr. (Robert Munson) while filming scenes at a local cafe, according to the Just Jared blog.
Sons creator Kurt Sutter said in one of his recent YouTube updates that episodes 1, 2, 3 are done and ready for filming while scripts are being written for episodes 4, 5, and 6.
“We are in the process of breaking episode 7, which is usually a big episode for us,” he said. “It’s sort of, it ends up being a, the same way a premiere sets in motion the bigger elements of the season, episode 7 tends to bring some of those things to some sort of conclusion then sets up what will ultimately be some of the bigger story elements that will bring us into the end of the season.”
“It’s a big one,” he added.
Also, two new cast members were recently confirmed for the final season of the show.
Marilyn Manson will play white supremacist Ron Tully, a prison shot-caller that Jax uses to expand his power base.
Annabeth Gish, known for playing Charlotte Millwright on The Bridge, has been added as the new sheriff.
