After starting off the new year with two major snowstorms, more snow on Feb. 3 is causing flight delays and cancellations.

According to Federal Aviation Administration flights out of Newark Liberty International (EWR) are delayed 16-30 minutes and arrivals can be delayed an average of 3 hours and 18 minutes. Incoming flights to LaGuardia Airport (LGA) are experiencing delays averaging 2 hours 45 minutes. Air traffic at LGA is subject to 15 minute delays.

At the time of publication, Flightaware.com showed 161 flight cancellations at LGA, 152 at EWR, and 51 at JFK.

Snowfall started early morning and the city will see 4-8 inches Feb. 3.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, according to the National Weather Service, but another storm will hit Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday morning.

NYC should expect 1-3 inches of sleet Tuesday night and another 3 inches of freezing rain Wednesday.
