A 15-year-old New York girl was struck by a snowplow early Tuesday and left injured.

The teen was struck around 7:20 a.m. on Feb. 16 on Wawbeek Avenue.

Emergency responders rushed the girl to Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, reported the Press Republican.

Tupper Lake Fire Department Chief Carl Steffen declined to comment on the extent of the injuries, but did say that North Country Life Flight was requested, but unavailable due to weather conditions, reported the Adirondack Daily Enterprise.

Tupper Lake Village Police are looking into what happened.
