After being pounded by a brutal storm that left transportation crippled, the East coast of the US slowly started to dig out on Monday.
In the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut region, snowfall depths ranged from about seven to 29 inches.
Less severely impacted was the Maryland-Virginia-District of Columbia area, which saw snowfall ranging from less than half an inch to 10 inches.
In the Massachusetts-New Hampshire-Rhode Island area, snowfall ranged from 4.5 to just over 18 inches.
The National Weather Service continued to warn residents of those areas about severe wind gusts following the heavy snowfall.
