UPDATE: Train service has been restored.

NEW YORK—Subway trains are stopped at both ends of the Manhattan Bridge due to a “smoke condition,” the Metropolitan Transportation authority reports.

Commuters in Brooklyn report delays of up to 90 minutes, with jam-packed trains and many people giving up and going back to Brooklyn.

A spokesperson with Fire Department said the smoke was caused by a “small track fire.” FDNY is responding.
