Shots were fired at the Central Michigan University campus on Friday morning.

A text alert sent to students said there were reports of shots fired, reported local 9&10 News.

The shots came near the 4th floor of Campbell Hall, according to the alert.

“There has been a report of shots fired at Campbell Hall on campus. Suspect is still at large, police advise all to take shelter. If you see something suspicious, call 911,” the university said via Twitter at 9:31 a.m. EST.
Police are responding to the shots fired, reported WXYZ.
