Shots were fired near the Greenwich Metro-North train station on Wednesday in Connecticut, it was reported.

The shots were fired near the station, reported ABC NY.

Two trains were held by police, as they searched them for robbery suspects.

Train service resumed at 5:45 p.m. The shots were heard at around 5 p.m.

Metro-North spokeswoman Marjorie Anders told The Associated Press that “residual delays” will affect train service in both direction to and from Grand Central Terminal in New York City.

PIX-11 reported that the bank robbery suspect was wearing a hat and sunglasses, and he spoke Spanish to a bank teller.
