Shooting Carneys Point: Police in southern New Jersey are searching for a suspect after they shot another during a traffic stop.
The incident happened around 1:00 a.m. on South Pennsville Road and Hollywood Avenue in Carney’s Point, New Jersey, according to local broadcaster WPVI.
One suspect was wounded during a shootout, captured, and later sent to a hospital; the other ran into the nearby wooded area.
The search for the second suspect continues.
Carney’s Point is off the New Jersey Turkpike near the border of New Jersey and Delaware.
