A man in China was filmed violently beating up his sick father in a hospital bed.
In the footage, a younger man, who has not been identified, could be seen allegedly hitting an elderly patient in a hospital bed and yelling at him loudly.
The man was filmed forcefully pulling an elderly man from the bed and asking him, “Are you going to wear?”
The elderly man can be seen receiving intravenous therapy on his hand. After a cut in the video, the old man can be seen laying on the bed again waving his hand feebly in response. The younger man then starts to repeatedly slap the older man’s chest.
The person filming the incident on their cellphone did not intervene and remained quiet in the room.
The hospital did not release further information about the patient or the man but said they had referred the incident to the police.
