NISHINOMIYA, Japan—Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company presented its world-renowned, all new 2012 program at the Performing Arts Center in Hyogo, Japan, on Feb. 21. The unique artistic feast made three department heads of a local human resources company applaud the performers time and time again to express their admiration.

Among the three executives who watched the performance with their president was Mr. Sugina. He exclaimed with delight, “Indeed, every program was so beautiful! The use of color was so perfect that it made me feel totally relaxed and joyful!”

He added, “In particular, the images of Buddhas descending from the backdrops to the stage was very spectacular and impressive.”

Mr. Sugina also stressed: “The program The Choice reminded me of the Tiananmen Square Massacre. Currently, the situation in China is still the same, and it is indeed a problem that should not be ignored.”

As a theatergoer and supporter of the performing arts, Mr. Sugina has a keen eye for shows. He commended Shen Yun by saying: “I took note of the orchestra in the orchestra pit upon my arrival here. The live music performed by the Shen Yun Orchestra was really marvelous, which made me feel the special melody and unique energy field.” He was also impressed by the solo erhu virtuoso performing “A Song for the Heart.” He said the melody was so beautiful that it deeply penetrated his heart.

In the interview, he not only expressed his joy to the reporters, but he also boasted: “Although the lyrics were not translated into Japanese, as soon as the Chinese subtitles came up, I seemed to understand them all.”

“It was the first time that I watched such a wonderful show performed by Shen Yun Performing Arts. I will come in the future to see it with my children,” he said.
