Sheen Changes Name Back to Carlos Estevez

Sheen changes name: Actor Charlie Sheen has decided to change his name back to Carlos Estevez, at least for a new movie.

For “Machete Kills,” a new movie Sheen appears in, TMZ obtained a screenshot of a promotion in which Sheen’s figure is seen with the name.

Sheen plays the U.S. president in the film, which is coming out on Sept. 13. 

Sheen’s dad Martin was born Ramón Antonio Gerardo Estevez, according to the tabloid media outlet, and he never changed his name legally. Charlie Sheen was born Carlos Irwin Estevez, according to his IMDB profile.

The rest of the cast for the film includes Antonio Banderas, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Jessica Alba.
