The two mutually agreed that the former Black Sabbath singer would leave the home temporarily. The split, according to E!, has nothing to do with Ozzy’s sobriety, as the website’s “insider” said he has been “sober for three and a quarter years and has not touched drugs or alcohol in that time.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the family told Yahoo: “At this time, Ozzy is not in the marital home.”

Ozzy has been in touch with his three children. He is staying at a Beverly Hills hotel.

The two met in the early 1970s when he was with Black Sabbath. Sharon later became his manager and the couple has dabbled in reality TV for while. Their show---which included Kelly Osbourne, 31, and Jack Osbourne, 30---starred on “The Osbournes” between 2002 and 2007.

In 2013, Ozzy admitted to having taken drugs after being 10 years sober.

“For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs,” he wrote on Facebook at the time. “I was in a very dark place and was an [expletive] to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober. Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I am just trying to be a better person. I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my bandmates for my insane behavior during this period………and my fans. God Bless, Ozzy.”
