"Shania and Fred Thiebaud are officially engaged!" the country singer's fan page tweeted out last night.
Thiebaud, 40, is a business executive for Nestle in Switzerland. Last week the couple were seen lunching at Serafina's Fabulous Grill in New York, with Twain, 45, sporting a large diamond engagement ring.
They are believed to have gotten engaged about two months ago in Switzerland, according to the New York Daily News.
"Her happiness certainly shone through," Stephane Lagonico, a friend of Twain's, said of the couple, according to People magazine. "They are a great addition to each other's lives."
Twain will release her new memoir early next year and also has a documentary series called Why Not?
