Protesters apparently threw a bunch of money--“making it rain”--around the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington D.C. as part of an anti-Monsanto protest.

U.S. Capitol Police Public Information Officer Shennell Antrobus told DCist.com that three demonstrators were arrested at around 1 p.m. and they dropped a bag of money and started throwing bills around.

Washington Examiner reporter Charlie Spiering reported: “Money on the floor is part of an anti - Monsanto protest. 3 people arrested and taken away.”

He said that later, police were seen sweeping it up.
