Seattle police say that a young girl was possibly abducted near Gatewood Elementary School in west Seattle.

The Seattle Police Department said via Twitter that a white female, six to 12 years old, was reportedly abducted. She was wearing a pink top.

A driver of a silver truck is sought in the reported abduction, the police said.

The driver is a white male, 30 to 40 years old, and was wearing a black shirt and blue pants.

The area of the city is the Gatewood area, police said. Police don’t think that a child was taken from the school.
